Hello, world!

A few changes here. If you’ve been to my photography portfolio website before, you’ll notice some minor cosmetic changes which actually make a somewhat more major change in the way the site looks. Simpler. Cleaner, I think. Trying to focus on the important things.

For the curious, the site is built on Wordpress utilizing a considerably customized installation of Performancing’s Photopress theme. After buying and trying out a flash-driven website template last year, I decided I was not a big fan (possibly another blog post) and came back to Wordpress. The photo slideshows are flash-driven, however. I highly recommend Monoslideshow and the Kimili Flash Embed plugin for an easily-customized presentation option for your Wordpress blog.

More importantly I sought to marry my primary domain and wedding subdomain, which now functions solely as a wedding photography blog, featuring the usual assortment of content as before. All portfolio material resides on the main page. “Home” is now a single destination.

And now I’ve decided I needed another photography blog. Photography covers a wide terrain, which I feel I’m constantly exploring. Still not content to settle.
